It is famous for Jasmine flowers and is transported to the entire world. It is a city which never sleeps as through out the day business activities is active. Alagar temple (Chithirai Thiruvizha), Thiruparankundram, Theppakulam and many other temples are there to visit. Famous Thirumalai Nayakkar palace is in center of the city and Tamil archaeological site Keeladi is around 20KM away.
